Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Delvin Leland Jones, 32, of Kingman Dec. 24 for felony assault per aggravated domestic violence and criminal damage per aggravated domestic violence.
Deputies responded to a disturbance around 3 p.m. at a residence in the 2300 block of East Ames Avenue. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the 36-year-old female victim, who said that Jones, her boyfriend, "went off" and started beating her. The victim said she almost lost consciousness when Jones was punching her in the face.
She also said that Jones punched holes in the bedroom wall. Deputies observed the victim to have blood and scratches on her face but she refused medical treatment.
Deputies also observed three holes in the walls. Deputies contacted Jones, who said that they weren't fighting and he didn't touch her. A records check showed Jones to have a failure to pay fines misdemeanor warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
