Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report at the Mohave County Jail Dec. 26 regarding an inmate in possession of drugs. Deputies contacted a detention officer at the Mohave County Jail regarding inmate Ronald David Jacques, 49, of Kingman, who was found to in possession of drugs after a glass pipe fell out of his pants as he was being processed into the jail. Jacques was also reportedly found to be in possession of two small plastic bags containing a white crystal substance. Deputies contacted Jacques and charged him with five counts of promoting prison contraband, three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of dangerous drugs, all felonies. Jacques was initially arrested the day before for a failure to pay fines misdemeanor warrant issued by Lake Havasu City Municipal Court.
