Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Brandy Rae Davis, 28, of Kingman Jan. 5 for felony aggravated DUI - suspended driver's license, along with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanors. Deputies responded around 10:30 p.m. to a suspicious vehicle parked in the 3200 block of Thompson Avenue. Upon arrival, deputies observed a female subject sitting in the driver's seat of a four-door sedan. Deputies contacted the driver, identified as Davis, and observed her eyes to be blood shot and watery. Davis said that she was waiting for a friend. Deputies further observed open alcohol containers inside the vehicle. A records check showed Davis to have a suspended driver's license. Deputies reportedly smelled an odor of alcohol on Davis as she exited the vehicle. Following the field sobriety tests, Davis was arrested and transported to the Mohave County Jail where an analysis revealed her blood alcohol concentration to be .052 percent. A blood sample was taken from Davis to be submitted to the DPS Crime Lab for further analysis. A search of Davis also reportedly revealed a small plastic bag containing marijuana and a pipe with residue. She was booked into the jail without incident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested James P. Reuter, 52, of Kingman Jan. 8 for shoplifting, possession of narcotics and an active Department of Corrections parole warrant. The Mohave County Sheriff's Office received a call around 5:40 p.m. from a business in the 2900 block of Northern about a possible shoplifter. When deputies responded, they reportedly found Reuter in possession of stolen property from the business. Upon further investigation, they said they found the Reuter was also in possession of prescription medication without having a valid prescription for said medication. Through a records check it was learned that Reuter had a valid warrant for his arrest from the Arizona Department of Corrections Parole Office. Reuter was arrested, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident on the above charges.
