Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Charles Albert Beighley, 57, of Dolan Springs July 5 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a prohibited weapon, felonies. Deputies responded around 8 p.m. to a residence in the 18000 block of Peach Drive and contacted a 72-year-old man who said he had been staying with Beighley. The man said Beighley got up from a nap and accused him of stealing items. Beighley began to throw the man's belongings into the yard. The man said he retrieved his items and got into his vehicle to leave the property when Beighley fired a shotgun several times at his vehicle. Deputies observed a bullet hole on the passenger side of the vehicle. Beighley was contacted and allegedly admitted to firing the weapon, which was located during a search. A records check showed Beighley to have a number felony convictions and that he is prohibited from possessing any weapons.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Krystal Rochelle Sautner, 25, of Kingman July 9 for prohibited possessor of a weapon, possession of a weapon in a drug offense, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court, all felonies. Deputies contacted Sautner during a traffic stop in the area of Ty Drive and Jagerson Avenue around 10:20 a.m. A records check showed Sautner to have outstanding warrants. She was arrested without incident. A search of the vehicle reportedly revealed a weapon. During conversations with Sautner, she allegedly said the weapon was hers. Deputies also reportedly found Sautner to be in possession of marijuana. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The driver was cited and released for driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Ray Thomas, 23, of Kingman July 5 for felony possession of a weapon by a prohibited person and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Deputies saw a male subject on a bicycle in the 2700 block of Thompson Avenue around 7:15 p.m. The deputies said the man began to pedal faster and look back at them before turning into an empty lot. Deputies contacted the male, identified as Thomas. While speaking with Thomas, deputies observed an empty holster on his hip. When questioned, Thomas reportedly admitted to throwing a gun into the bushes when he saw the deputies. Deputies located the 22-caliber handgun. A records check showed Thomas to be a prohibited possessor due to prior felony convictions. It also showed Thomas to have a misdemeanor warrant for failure to pay fines issued by Kingman Justice Court. Thomas was arrested without incident.
