I have listened to Janice Palmer a few times and she is likely the only one who has a plan for Kingman. I have lived here since 1980 and this place has been a town for the good old boys.

We need a plan for more jobs and businesses to make this town grow and she has talked about it. I have not heard a word from the other people, the ones who have been in office for some time. She is talking about a common sense budget that will be balanced and maintain that budget.

She has said that she wants no tax increases because everybody has a hardship with the money and jobs.

She favors businesses like Target, Red Lobster, Olive Gardens, Tony Romas, See's Candy, Stone Cold Ice Cream, and the big businesses like Levi-Strauss and more. If you have the business here in town with the jobs, then the company and the people will be paying the taxes, to help the government.

Janice, I know has helped the seniors, vets and young people. She also has helped people with alternative life styles, the handicapped and the low-income as well as no-income people.

She also wants to help the kids here in town by getting them a skating rink or park and getting a BMX park for the kids, but she would also like to see a teen dance club with rules to keep it cool and no trouble.

The one thing that I know is she has the education, the work experience with business and owning a business. One of the things that I have seen is that she has feelings for people. She lives in Kingman and works with and for the people. I have seen her listen to people when they have stopped to talk to her, and complain and suggest things about the city government. She listens to them. We need change and it is now! And she is the one to do it for Kingman.
