Road work on U.S. 93 continues

ARIZONA - Motorists traveling between Phoenix and Las Vegas should anticipate up to 30-minute delays next week as crews install rumble strips on a 3-mile segment of U.S. 93 north of Wikieup (mileposts 116 to 118).

Crews will be installing the strips from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Tuesday, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. A pilot car will guide traffic through the work zone.

In addition, ADOT reminds drivers of the 7-mile widening project just north of Wikieup (mileposts 109 to 116). Construction is on schedule for completion in the fall. ADOT advises motorists to expect up to 15-minute delays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
