KRMC testing for marrow matches
KINGMAN - Kingman Regional Medical Center will host a bone marrow drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Del E Webb Wellness Center conference rooms, 1719 Beverly Ave.
Participants will be tested for bone marrow matching using a swabbing technique that is easy and painless.
In addition, they can sign up to volunteer or donate to "Be the Match" - the organization that coordinates bone marrow matching.
Thousands of patients across the country depend on the Be the Match Registry to find a donor who can give them the chance for a cure.
Bone marrow donors need to be between 18 and 44, meet the health guidelines and be willing to donate to any patient in need at any time.
For more information or to make a donation, visit http://www.bethematchfoundation.org/goto/krmc, call (928) 757-0616 or visit BeTheMatch.org.
