Obituary: Ryan Edward Perea
Ryan Edward Perea, 33, of Kingman passed away Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012. He was born Sept. 6, 1979, in Lake Havasu City to Frank and Mary Perea. He was a lifelong Kingman resident and a dedicated employee of Valley Pioneer Water Company for 11 years. He was a beloved brother to Frank Perea Jr. (Jessica) and Jared Perea (Regina), and although he did not have any children of his own, he was a devoted uncle to his nephews Addis, Roman and Xavier and his nieces, Serena and Emma. As "Nino" he took great joy in spending time with the kids, taking them fishing, hiking, teaching them how to shoot BB guns and archery, and flying kites.
Ryan was known for his friendly smile and kind heart. He took great joy in spending time with his family and friends. He was a deep soul who cared deeply for his loved ones. A self taught mechanic, he took great pride in working on his truck. He loved to go fishing and had great respect for nature and the environment. He was a giver and not concerned with material things, but rather cherished his family and friends above all else.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Frank and Mary; his brothers, Frankie and Jared; his nephews, Addis, Roman, and Xavier; his nieces Serena and Emma; his grandparents, Edward and Helen Walker; and his many loving uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Betty Walker and Lola Perea; grandfather, Joe J. Perea; and uncle, Gabriel Perea; and his sister, Monica Perea. We are all heartbroken that you are no longer with us. You will remain forever in our hearts.
Services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 24, at the Kingman First Assembly of God Church, 1850 Gates Ave. A celebration of Ryan's life will follow at 3 p.m. at the Historic Elks Lodge, 301 N. Fourth St., in downtown Kingman.
