Obituary: Freddie Lowman
Freddie Lee Lowman, was born Sept. 3, 1933, in Medford, Ore., to John and Magdalena Lowman. Fred left this world to be with our heavenly Father above on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012; he had struggled with poor health for several years; he passed away at the VA Hospital in Phoenix.
Fred is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Dolores Lowman; and his children, Audree Johnson (Mike) of Los Lunas, N.M., John Lowman (Kathy) of Albuquerque, N.M., Cindy Lowman (Bobby) of Fort Worth, Texas, Jim Jensen (Marva) of Kingman, Bruce Jensen (Donna) of Kingman, Bryan Jensen (Shawna) of Prescott Valley, Bob Jensen (Cledia) of Kingman and Paula Napier (Mike) of Buckeye, Ariz. Fred also leaves behind 26 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Fred has a brother, Bill Beezley (LaWanda) of Kingman; a sister, Josephine Proferes of Clarkston, Wash.; and many nieces and nephews. Fred was preceded in death by both of his parents, John and Magdalena Lowman, and his oldest daughter, Dorothy Lee Lowman.
His funeral service was held Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, followed by a graveside memorial with military veterans giving a gun salute; they folded and gave the United States flag to his wife Dolores; she in turn gave the flag to Fred's son John.
The service ended with the Lord's Prayer. Many went to his beloved home of many years to pay tribute and say their final goodbye to him. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
