Kingman letters: Remember Benghazi in 2016
When al Qaeda terrorists attacked the embassy in Benghazi, Libya, resulting in the murder of the ambassador and three staff members, Obama's administration immediately began obscuring details and lying about the attacks, maintaining they were a result of a spontaneous protest over a video. Obama lied about it, Clinton lied about it, and U.N. Ambassador Rice later repeated the lies several times on news programs.
Since then the administration has been silent about the events and refuses to answer the most basic questions, continuing to conceal facts and obscure the issue. It has been learned that there were some other staff members on the grounds of the embassy during the attacks, which were carried out over a period of several hours. Obama's administration is not providing the names of these personnel and not allowing any of them to be questioned as to what actual events took place.
The Obama administration persists in hindering investigation and thwarting attempts to find the truth. Meanwhile, the House of Representatives dawdles. They are indecisive over whether to call for a formal investigation or not. The Senate, controlled by Democrats, of course, will not conduct any such probe.
Obama and his minions are liars and should be held accountable for those deaths. But they will continue to obscure facts, withhold information and lie about the events until after the 2016 election.
Remember the four Americans who died in Benghazi when Hillary Rodham Clinton runs for president.
