Mud Mayhem and Moto X Madness

KINGMAN - Mud Mayhem (and) Moto X Madness will hit the Mohave County Fairgrounds with the engines running Saturday. The second event of the year will feature dirt bike racing during the day and mud bogs in the evening.

Motocross rider sign ups start at 7:30 a.m. Practice begins at 9 and the races begin at 10:30 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.

Mud Mayhem begins at 5 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m., with a $500 prize for first place and $250 for second place. Last month, 75 motocross riders and 19 mud boggers participated in front of 1,200 spectators.

New this month is a peewee racing exhibition and a motocross freestyle contest. The latter includes a $100 prize to the winner.
