Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Tyrel William Price, 25, of Kingman Dec. 27 on a parole violation felony warrant issued by Arizona Department of Corrections. Deputies contacted Price during a traffic stop in the area of Benton and Butler Avenue around 1:30 p.m. A records check showed him to have outstanding warrants. He was taken without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Ofelia Sainz-Munoz, 35, of Kingman Jan. 5. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Stockton Hill Road at Golden Gate Avenue around 9:30 p.m. and contacted the driver, who reportedly identified herself as Sainz-Munoz with a Mexico identification card. With the assistance of Border Patrol, Sainz-Munoz was determined to be an illegal immigrant. She was transported to the Mohave County Jail where Border Patrol later took her into custody. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report at the Mohave County Jail Jan. 6 regarding an inmate assaulting another inmate. Deputies contacted a detention officer, who reported that inmate Michael Eugene Shirlen, 30, of Bullhead City, assaulted a 35-year-old man. The detention officer reportedly observed Shirlen hitting the victim as he approached their cell. Deputies contacted the victim and said they observed redness on his face. Shirlen was charged with assault.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Walter Lee Henry, 59, of Kingman Jan. 7 for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, along with an outstanding warrant. Deputies responded to a criminal damage report in the 4200 Roosevelt Road around 2:15 p.m. and contacted a subject identified as Henry. A records check showed Henry to have a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court. He was arrested without incident. Henry reportedly told deputies that he had drugs in his possession and a search of Henry allegedly yielded a syringe and a small white rock that field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
