Gordon detours start on Monday

KINGMAN - Paving work on Gordon Drive starts at 7 a.m. Monday and will require intermittent lane and intersection closures from west of Shadow Road to east of Lomita Street, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Gordon Drive intersections with Walleck Ranch Drive and Willow Road will be closed through 5 p.m. Motorists on Willow Road and Walleck Ranch Drive are asked to detour along Kino Avenue.

On Tuesday, crews will pave west of Irving Street to Bank Street and the intersections of Roosevelt, Pinal, Benton and Arizona streets will be closed. Again, motorists should detour either on Kino or Colorado avenues.

On Wednesday, paving will require intermittent road closures south of Gordon Drive on the following streets: Arizona, Benton, Pinal, Roosevelt, Irving and Lomita.

Traffic will be slowed or stopped throughout the three-day period.
