Cardiologist joins KRMC staff

KINGMAN - Kingman Regional Medical Center has welcomed Dr. Robert Spadafora to its multidisciplinary cardiovascular team. He is a cardiologist with nearly 20 years of practice treating and preventing diseases of the heart and blood vessels.

He joins cardiologist Dr. Saadeh Saadeh and interventional cardiologist Dr. Dennis Dunning at Kingman Cardiovascular Associates at the Medical Professional Center on the KRMC campus in Kingman.

The multidisciplinary cardiovascular team involves physicians and other healthcare providers with specialized training in heart and vascular care. The team addresses cardiovascular problems from multiple perspectives.

Spadafora is a native of Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

He completed his residency training in internal medicine at Hahnemann University-affiliated Lehigh Valley Hospital Center in Allentown, Penn.

He completed a three-year fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Pennsylvania-affiliated Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is board-certified in both nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. Prior to coming to Kingman, Dr. Spadafora practiced in the Phoenix area for most of his career.

He chose to practice at KRMC because he felt it would be a great opportunity to be a part of its growing cardiovascular program. He was impressed by the positive attitudes of KRMC's medical and administration staffs and their efforts toward providing the highest possible cardiovascular care.

Spadafora is taking new patients and accepts most insurance plans, including Medicare and Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System.
