Obituary: Benjamin Rosemark
Benjamin Edward Rosemark, 79, was born in Rockford, Minn., Jan. 27, 1934, and passed away at his home on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013 after a two-year battle with cancer and numerous other health problems. Through it all he never lost his smile or sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife and best friend for the past 25 years, Judith; her daughter, Jane (Phillip) Bidon of Oak Park Heights, Minn.; and his cat "Keeper!"
Ben has resided in Kingman for the past 14 years, returning to his cabin in Wisconsin in the summer months until his health problems prevented him from doing so. He loved to fish and go to the Friday Night Fish Fries.
Ben was a baker by trade in the wholesale/retail bakery business for over 40 years in Minnesota. His specialty was wedding cakes and French pastries. He enjoyed working on cars and traveling with his wife in the motor home.
Thank you to Dr. Kathleen Naegele for making Ben her "poster boy," Dr. Jamal Al-Khatib for his many years of care and friendship and to Sara, his hospice nurse, and to so many others who cared for him; we express gratitude.
