Manzanita Elementary School held its 4th Annual Open Chess Tournament at its campus Saturday.

About 140 players from Manzanita, White Cliffs Middle School, Black Mountain, Hualapai, Desert Willow, Kingman Middle School, Kingman Academy of Learning Middle and Intermediate Schools participated.

Rob Findlay was Tournament Director.

Participants played five rounds of chess for several divisional awards and trophies that were handed out at the end of the event.
