Mohave 911: October 21, 2013
On. Oct. 11, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Duane Alphonse Bombagi, 57, of Oatman, on a felony charge of aggravated assault per domestic violence. Deputies responded to Bombagi's home in the 60 block of Francis Road at about 7:10 p.m. after he called dispatch and reported he "strangled" his wife. Bombagi later said the 60-year-old woman was rendered unconscious, but that he revived her. The woman refused medical attention and Bombagi was taken into custody without incident.
On Oct. 14, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Sandy Marie Thompson, 46, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a car Thompson was driving at about 3:20 a.m. at Bond Street and Potter Avenue. A K9 unit was called and the dog "alerted" after sniffing the vehicle. The search allegedly revealed marijuana, a "white crystal substance," and a pipe and a straw with drug residue. Thompson was taken into custody without incident.
On Oct. 14, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Johnny William Victory, 37, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a car Victory was driving at Eagle Drive at Quail Lane. Deputies said they observed Victory "moving his arms around and moving in his seat" and asked him to exit the vehicle. A search allegedly revealed a plastic bag with a white crystal substance. Victory reportedly told deputies he passed out the night before and someone put the drugs in his pants pocket while he was unconscious. He was taken into custody without incident.
On Oct. 14, Kingman Police officers arrested Damian G. Brase, 25, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of prescription drugs with no valid prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers responded to the 1400 block of Andy Devine Avenue at about 8:30 a.m. to remove Brase from a property. He was located a short distance away and a search allegedly revealed he was in possession of narcotics and paraphernalia. Brase was taken into custody without incident.
On Oct. 15, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Steven Morgan Yarbrough, 30, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies responded to a disturbance call in the 3900 block of John L Avenue at about 9:30 p.m. They reportedly watched a man quickly walk toward another residence and drop something along the way. Deputies said the item was a glass pipe with residue. They caught up to Yarbrough and took him into custody without incident. A search allegedly revealed he was in possession of methamphetamine. Yarbrough also was the reason 911 was contacted. The caller reportedly told deputies that he was having a birthday party at his home when an apparently uninvited Yarbrough arrived and started a disturbance. The caller told deputies he had to remove Yarbrough from the residence.
On Oct. 15, Kingman Police officers arrested Ronald L. Hartman-McQueen, 38, of Kingman on a felony fugitive from justice warrant on the original charge of escape from the Washington State Department of Corrections. Officers were investigating a traffic complaint in the 3100 block of Stockton Hill Road in which Hartman-McQueen was involved. A record check revealed the warrant. He was taken into custody without incident.
On Oct. 16, Kingman Police officers arrested Sherry Marie Schramm, 46, of Golden Valley on felony charges of fraudulent schemes, credit card forgery, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with a misdemeanor charge of false reporting and a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court issued by Kingman Justice Court. Police responded to a fast food restaurant in the 3000 block of Andy Devine Avenue regarding a report of a forged credit card being used in an attempted purchase. According to police, Schramm tried to pass gift cards off as credit cards using false numbers and other techniques. The woman allegedly provided police someone else's identification card as proof of who she was. She was taken into custody and a search reportedly revealed she was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. A computer check revealed the warrant. Schramm was taken into custody without incident.
