Letter of thanks: Prom Fair made a difference

I would just like to give a huge thank you to the Kingman community for helping Kingman High School put on yet another successful Prom Fair. Prom Fair is an opportunity for our junior and senior FIT and Free and Reduced Meals students to come have some fun and "shop" for all the things they need for prom, for free. We had hundreds of dresses for girls to choose from and many suits for the guys. We also had shoes, jewelry, purses, makeup, tuxedo discounts, corsage/boutonniere discounts, free meals and free dance tickets. The success of this program depends on our community and Kingman really rose to the occasion.

Thank you to the many people who made monetary donations and to those who brought clothing items to the school. A special thank you goes out to Girlie Forman, Toni's Cleaners, Soroptimist's International of Kingman, Venture Club, S Club, Hispanic Student Union, JC Penney's, Maurices, Party Perfect, Heaven's Scent, Sally Marquardt, Link Leaders, Elks Lodge, Dora's Beale Street Deli, The Dambar and our fabulous KHS faculty and staff. You all are the reason we can make this happen year after year. You all helped to make a huge difference in the lives of nearly 60 students. Thank you!
