Beating leads to Kingman man's arrest

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Kingman man who allegedly beat his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend Jan. 29. Yale Morton Fairman, 34, allegedly assaulted a 22-year-old man at the home of a former girlfriend in the 2800 block of Thompson Avenue.

Fairman left the residence before deputies arrived. They found the man lying on the kitchen floor with "a large amount of blood" on his face, head and neck. He was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center.

The man reportedly told deputies that Fairman attacked him and a witness confirmed to deputies that Fairman punched the man. Fairman was located at about 11 a.m. Friday near Benton Street and Butler Avenue. He was charged with aggravated assault. - temporary disfigurement, a felony.
