Letter of thanks: Friend is a light on the darkest days
My grandma, N. Sharon Butler passed away recently and I haven't had any friends stand by my side; no one except my best friend Chelsea Ledesma. She has been the only one amongst my peers to actually stand by me. I wanted to give her a very special and public "thank you." She has been nothing but supportive. I believe that in the time of grieving, it is very important to have someone at least your age to support you through the heartbreak.
Chelsea has cried with me, laughed with me and most importantly, she has prayed with me. I thank God every day for her presence. This isn't a breaking news story to the rest of the public, however it is to me.
Thank you Chelsea; your support means everything to me. I love you, best friend. Thank you for being the light on my darkest days and the tissue to dry my tears. You really are my best friend.
