Golden Valley man stops would-be burglar

KINGMAN - A Golden Valley homeowner turned the tables on a burglar Sunday morning when he caught a man in his home and held him at gunpoint until law enforcement arrived.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Danny Scott Divincenzo, 36, of Kingman shortly after 7:40 a.m. at a home in the 4500 block of Dora Drive.

The homeowner was able to detain Divincenzo, who allegedly admitted to deputies that he broke a window and entered the residence.

Divincenzo faces felony charges of burglary and trespassing.

He is the second alleged thief to be caught by a civilian. Last Wednesday, a man detained Justin Michael Kelly Boehm after he was allegedly caught burglarizing a vehicle in the 3200 block of Lomalai Street in Kingman.
