KINGMAN - John Herrero (Kingman Academy, 2013) recorded five total tackles and 1.5 sacks for No. 25 Northern Arizona in the Lumberjacks' 24-17 loss at Northern Colorado Saturday.

Herrero's tackles-for-loss totaled 11 yards in the game.

UNC returned an 84-yard interception for a touchdown in the fourth quarter as the difference maker, its second of the game. NAU (3-3, 1-1 Big Sky) allowed only 10 points by the UNC offense.

Herrero has 13 total tackles on the season, and his 17 yards in tackles-for-loss are second on the team along with his two sacks.

NAU is on a bye this week.

Casson leads Dolphins on 3-match win streak

Natalie Casson (Kingman, 2013) had 11 kills, seven digs and two aces to help propel the LeMoyne College Dolphins to a 19-25, 25-14, 23-25, 25-19, 15-10 come-from-behind win over Southern Connecticut State Saturday in Northeast 10 Conference action.

LeMoyne (New York) has won three consecutive matches.

Casson leads LeMoyne (5-8, 2-2 NE 10) with 144 kills, 165 points and 15 aces. The Dolphins played at College of Saint Rose Tuesday evening.
