Ballot propositions explained at local forums
KINGMAN - The Arizona Secretary of State's office will hold a town hall meeting at noon today at the Mohave County Board of Supervisors auditorium, 700 W. Beale St., to educate the public about propositions on the Nov. 4 general election ballot.
Another town hall is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. today at Lake Havasu Police Department Council Chambers, 2360 N. McCulloch Blvd.
The three propositions to be presented are:
Prop. 122: Creates a mechanism by which use of state personnel and financial resources are employed only for purposes congruent with the Constitution.
Prop. 303: Allows terminally ill patients access to medical treatments that have completed phase one of a clinical trial, but are not yet approved by FDA.
Prop. 304: Increases salaries of state legislators from $24,000 to $35,000 annually.
