KRMC competing in $10,000 'Pink Glove' contest
KINGMAN - Kingman Regional Medical Center has submitted an entry to Medline Corporation's 2014 Pink Glove Dance competition.
The competition features hundreds of videos submitted by hospitals across the United States to support breast cancer awareness and prevention.
KRMC's entry is titled "Kingman Cares," and shows how the community of Kingman has joined together in the fight against breast cancer.
The video features health care workers at KRMC as well as community members from local businesses, schools, and organizations.
Footage shot from the many cancer events in Kingman last fall is also included.
The video can be seen at pinkglovedance.com through Sept. 23.
Viewers can vote once per day using their email accounts, and the winner will be announced on Oct. 2.
The winner will receive a $10,000 donation to a cancer service organization of their choice, and KRMC will be donating any prize money it receives to the Kingman Cancer Care Unit, which is local all-volunteer non-profit organization.

KRMC will also post contest updates on its Twitter and Facebook feeds.
