Paving work continues on I-40 east of Kingman
Look for work on the eastbound on-ramps
KINGMAN - Construction crews are slated Monday to pave the eastbound on- and off-ramps at the DW Ranch Road traffic interchange, or exit 59, at I-40.
The work is part of the paving project under way east of Kingman by the Arizona Department of Transportation.
From 4 a.m. to 6 p.m., the eastbound on- and off-ramps will be closed. Drivers taking the off ramp will be detoured about six miles east to Blake Ranch Road, or exit 66.
Motorists taking the on ramp will be detoured about six miles west to Andy Devine Avenue, or exit 53. Access will be maintained for local traffic.
Crews have completed paving the westbound lanes and continue paving the eastbound lanes of the 15-mile segment of I-40 between Rattlesnake Wash and U.S. 93, or mileposts 57 to 71.5.
Work is scheduled from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 4 a.m. to noon Friday.
ADOT advises drivers to slow down, proceed through the work zone with caution and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
