Inmate's death under investigation
KINGMAN - The Arizona Department of Corrections is investigating the death of a Maricopa County man who was serving a 5-year term for theft and drug paraphernalia charges at Arizona State Prison-Kingman.
Neil Early, 23, was found dead Monday at the prison in Golden Valley. No other details were provided and an ADC spokesman said the death remains under investigation.
Early was convicted in Maricopa County in 2011 on two counts of organized retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. He had a couple of prior shoplifting convictions on his record, according to court records. According to prison records, Early would have been released in April of 2016. He had no disciplinary problems while he was incarcerated.
