Letter: Quite unhappy with the library
I purchased my Kindle eBook with the idea of being able to download some free books from the local library. So I had to go and get a card. Fine, I understand everyone should have to register. But after a year, my card expired and my emphysema is worse and it makes it harder to walk any distance. But the library doesn't care if you're 77 years old, or 14 and disabled, you still need to come in and renew your card. I would think once they know you're on disability and can't get around they would let you renew another way or at least give you a lifetime membership. When you can't walk, that is a long way in there when it is raining, cold and windy.
Please, why doesn't someone do something about this? They could even bring proof from their doctor.
