Obituary: William Dean Marxen
William Dean Marxen (Bill) passed away on May 2 in Yucca. He was born to Dean and Virginia Marxen on May 5, 1953, in Eugene, Ore.
Bill worked at American Woodmark in Kingman. He enjoyed his family and friends and liked playing card games. Bill was a veteran of the Navy and was loved by all who knew him. When he got out of the Navy, he hitchhiked all over the United States. He was doing what he loved by living on his own piece of land in Yucca.
Bill is survived by Jane Guthrie and husband, Pat, from Monroe, Ore.; Lois Haller and her husband from Newport, Ore.; Diane Paulson and her husband, Ken, from Chehalis, Wash.; and Larry Marxen and his wife, Debbie, from Twin Bridges, Mont. He is also survived by seven nephews, three nieces, seven great-nephews, eight great-nieces, one great-great-nephew and one great-great-niece.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dean Marxen, on Sept. 4, 1992; his mother, Virginia Marxen, on Feb. 7, 2002; and a sister, Dona Syphers, on Dec. 26, 1992.
Bill's family loved him and misses him very much.
