Obituary: Todd K. Edwards
Todd K. Edwards, 46, of Kingman passed away Saturday, May 16, in a hospice in Las Vegas after being diagnosed on April 29 with terminal cancer. He is now in the loving arms of our Lord.
He was the youngest son of Herbert and Janet Edwards of Yucaipa, Calif., originally from St. Paul, Minn.
Todd was a proud man and worked for 25 years in Laughlin at the Edgewater and Colorado Belle casinos in inventory control, always thriving to succeed in his job and making sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible.
Todd loved camping, cooking, spending time with his family and the outdoors. He loved computers and programming and was always trying to learn more. He met his wife, Lee, online and they eventually overcame immigration issues and were happily married for 10 years. He always worried about his family before himself. He would help anyone in need whenever possible.
Todd is survived by his wife, Lee, four children, daughters Jessica, Tracy and Stephanie, and a son, Kevin. Todd is also survived by his parents, Herbert and Janet, his sister Jean and family, his brother James and family, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, a nephew, many colleagues and friends.
A memorial will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 7, at the Church of the Nazarene, 4715 Stockton Hill Road. A potluck will immediately follow the service at the church for all who wish to attend. Instead of flowers, potted plants are preferred. Todd hated to watch flowers cut and wither away.
He was taken too soon and will be missed by many and thrive in the hearts of everyone who loved him.
