Obituary: Robert Watson
Robert Watson (Bob), 66, born in Denver, Colo., passed away peacefully with his loving mother by his side on Sunday, March 1.
The loss of his laughter, smile and all around Bob-ness will be what hurts us most, but the fact that he is no longer in pain will give those he left behind solace that he is now at peace. He will be remembered for being a loving son, husband, father and friend.
He was a family man who put everyone before himself and will truly be missed. If you knew him you loved him for exactly who he was, a man who accepted all for who they were. He is an amazing man who will be missed more than words can express but his love for his family and friends will live on in their memories of the amazing man that is Bob.
Bob is survived by his wife, Margaret; mother, Hulda; daughter, Beth; son, Jim, daughter in-law, Sara; and two precious grandsons, Santiago and Liam Watson. A memorial service will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at the VFW Post 10386, 3036 John L Avenue. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to VFW Post 10386, as Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
