Obituary: Cynthia Charlene Kenton (King)
Our precious angel, Cynthia Charlene Kenton (King), unexpectedly passed away early Friday morning on May 15, 2015, to be with our Lord and Savior in Heaven.
Cindy was preceded in death by her daddy, Charles King. She is survived by her mama, Janie King; her best friend and husband of 19 years, Russ Kenton; her children, Charlie and Miranda Kenton; step-daughter Quincy Kenton and wife Veronica; sisters Diana and husband Danny Woods, Denise Empson and Christy Lintel; nieces and nephews Amber (Boo Boo) Goff, Daniel (DJ) Woods, Stephen McBee, Jason McBee, Ashley McBee, Jessica Lintel, Christopher Lintel and Mason Leggett, in addition to nine great-nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
Cindy was born Feb. 5, 1972, in Monticello, Ga., to Charles and Janie King. She was the third of four daughters. Growing up she was a tomboy, always getting into mischief with her sisters. At 23, she married her true love, Russ, on Jan. 27, 1996. Their love created two beautiful children and a loving home with infinite memories.
Beginning her medical career at 22, Cindy found her passion as a dialysis technician the past 15 years, devoting her love and kindness to all of her patients. Cindy had an infectious laugh that will be missed but never forgotten.
Services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, May 22, at Hilltop Foursquare Church located on Emerson and Railroad with a reception to follow at her home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to www.gofundme.com at dm2.gofund.me/upztv8.
