Letter of thanks: Cleanup a team effort

The Kingman Clean City Commission would like to publicly thank and recognize numerous organizations and individuals that contributed to the Kingman Day of Caring Annual City-Wide Cleanup on Sept. 12.

The contributing groups and individuals include the Kingman Police Department and Chief Bob DeVries, Kingman Sanitation Department, Canyon Community Church, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints missionaries and families, White Cliffs Middle School Student Council, Girl Scout Troop 2074, Kingman FIRST Robotics Team 60 and FLL Team FIRST Bionic Inventors, Kingman High School FCCLA-Early Childhood, FBLA & HOSA Club, Kingman Meth Coalition, Kingman Rotary Club, Mohave Lions Club, River Cities United Way Volunteers, Kingman Regional Medical Center, True Value Distribution Center, Kingman Advertising, In-N-Out Burger, Nucor Steel, UniSource Energy Services, FedEx Ground, White Wind Tigers, Chuck Waalkens & AMR, Donald J. Lynch CPA, Law Office of Tom Price, Camacho Family, Larry Burlew and the Kingman Board of Realtors, and Joni Milan with the CARE Sandbox Committee.

In addition, big thank you to DL Poole & Sons for loaning equipment and donating landscape rock and Home Depot for donated supplies and paint for the work on the small houses at Stockton Hill Road and Jefferson Ave.

Finally, we would like to thank Coca-Cola and National Bank of Arizona for donating water, True Value for supplying ice, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for providing a great breakfast for our volunteers.

Thanks to all of you we had a very successful clean-up.
