The Dig It Community Garden is a real asset to our town. Those responsible need to be commended and recognized for all their hard work and effort. The project costs this community nothing, yet will help feed many.

There were dozens of volunteers involved in this project. Some individuals and organizations deserving of recognition are Mike Roundy, Jon Mayberry, Denise Neath, Ron Tanner, Sue West, Karen Florez, Cathy Cooper, the University of Arizona-Mohave County Extension offices, the Master Gardeners, and all others I may have neglected to name here. Praise Chapel is also to be thanked for their generous donation of land.

Thank you and congratulations for a job very well done.
