Ralph Wallace Johns

Ralph Wallace Johns, 83, was born July 23, 1932, in Ohio. He died Nov. 16, 2015.

Ralph was raised in Kentucky and was a U.S. Army war veteran of Korea, 1950-1951. He retired as a detective, deputy sheriff from San Diego, Calif., to Sheridan, Wyo. He then came to Kingman to play golf in Valle Vista. He loved golf, shooting, reloading and being outdoors. He was a member of the VFW, the Reloading Club, Men's Club Valle Vista and the Elks.

Ralph is survived by his children, David Johns, Karen Johns, Dennis (Shanai) Johns, Andrew (Tessa) Johns, Lucy (Ken) Johns Jones and Janelle (Mike) Johns Wood; and his stepchildren, Taylor Palmer and Kristen Palmer. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ryan Johns, Valerie Richards, Jake Richards, Dustin Johns, Derin Johns, Holly Johns, Jaxon Johns, Todd Johns, McKenzie Johns, Cole Wood and Caden Wood.

Ralph was preceded in death by grandchild Mathew Johns.

A memorial service will be held at the VFW on John L Avenue in Kingman at 1 p.m. Nov. 29.
