Obituary: Dominic Matthew Amico
Dominic Matthew Amico, 31, of Kingman, passed away on Oct. 13, 2015, with his family by his side.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Journey Church, 3782 N. Bank St., Kingman, with Pastor Dale Sharp officiating.
He was born in Shreveport, La., on Oct. 16, 1983. Most of his school years were spent at SEDOM Center, Woodstock, Ill., and he graduated from the Special Education program at Kingman High School in 2005.
He spent his days with friends and receiving full care and support at SOLO of America. He was very social and loved all types of music and traveling. Dominic was a long-term survivor of childhood cancer and received care at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
He is survived by his parents, Frank and Jean Amico; sister, Gracey Lindner (Zachary); foster sister, Kimberly Hogan (Matthew); niece Emily Hogan; grandmother, Grace Cook; aunt, Victoria Kerr (Jordan); uncles, Michael Amico (Racine), Joseph Sadowski (Jane) and David Sadowski; and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by his Papa and Nana, Dominic and Margie Amico; grandfather, Daniel Sadowski; and uncle, Michael Sadowski.
