KINGMAN - Three people sustained serious injuries Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in the Butler area.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to the intersection of John L and Glen avenues just after 2 p.m.
The investigation determined 23-year-old Tommy Lee Loader of Golden Valley was speeding when he crashed a Honda sedan into a Dodge minivan driven by Pamela Branc Eicher, 63, of Kingman, according to sheriff's office spokeswoman Trish Carter.
Loader sustained head trauma and broken legs. His passenger, Steven Chase Roby, 18, of Kingman, also sustained head trauma and a broken pelvis. Neither was wearing a seatbelt, said Carter.
Eicher sustained internal injuries and might have broken a wrist and leg.
The accident remains under investigation, said Carter.
