Letter: Clean Up was a Huge Success

River Cities United Way, the CARE /Sandbox Committee and the Clean City Commission's "Day of Caring/Community Clean Up" was a huge success!

Thank you to so many citizens, businesses and organizations that pitched in.

There were over 425 individuals that participated, which exceeds last year's numbers.

If you had the opportunity to drive around town on Saturday, you certainly had reason to smile and to be thankful for those service-minded individuals who gave their time early on a Saturday morning to make Kingman clean. May I just say, "It humbled me"?

River Cities wishes to thank Coca-Cola and National Bank of Arizona for donating water and to True Value for supplying the ice. At the Stockton Hill project, D&L Poole & Sons loaned their equipment and donated the landscape rock, Home Depot donated supplies and also thanks to Behr Paints. Thank you to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for providing the amazing breakfast.

I am so proud of the citizens in Kingman for showing that they do care!

Thank you!
