Lee Williams' Snay named All-State Honorable Mention

KINGMAN - Lee Williams High's sophomore setter Sadie Snay has been named to the Arizona Interscholastic Association 2015-2016 Division III Volleyball All-State Team as an Honorable Mention. Snay was the only local spiker to be so named.

Snay led Lee Williams (9-9) in the fall with 258 assists, 140 kills and 45 aces.

The first and second teams consisted of seven players each, and there were 58 players named as honorable mentions out of 80 D-III teams.

Each head coach had the opportunity to vote on all varsity student-athletes within their section and division.

The following schools participated in the voting:

Agua Fria, Blue Ridge, Chandler Prep, Cibola, Desert Edge, Florence, Ganado, Gila Ridge, Greenway, Holbrook, Horizon Honors, Independence, Kofa, Lake Havasu, Maricopa, Nogales, Northland Prep, Phoenix Country Day, Raymond S. Kellis, Safford, Shadow Ridge, Show Low, Snowflake, Tempe Prep, Tuba City, Valley Christian, Verrado, Window Rock and Youngker.
