Obituary: Helen Ernestine Strange
Helen Ernestine Strange, 90, of Kingman and formerly of Clinton, Ill., passed away 10:04 a.m. Jan. 30, 2016, at the Gardens Rehab Care Center in Kingman.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Pastor Nicholis Blacklidge officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to the Helen E. Strange Memorial Fund.
Helen was born Sept. 9, 1925, in Conway, Ark., the daughter of Davis and Esther (Grissom) Hendrickson. She married Elmer D. Strange on June 22, 1968, in Lane, Ill. He passed away Nov. 20, 2002.
Survivors include her daughter, Gloria Jean Bradley, Kingman; a granddaughter, Kimberly (Tom) Carman Jr. of Kingman; two great-grandchildren, Colton Brown and Reilly Brown, both of Kingman; and a sister, Ann (Mike) Gifford of Nashville, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Ronald Bradley Jr., son-in-law Ronald L. Bradley, three brothers and one sister.
Helen retired from Revere Copper & Brass Inc., Clinton.
