Letter of thanks: KCCU wins with arts, crafts fair
The Kingman Cancer Care Unit says thank you to the community and businesses that supported us for our 40th annual Arts and Crafts Fair. It was a huge success and helped us raise money to support the area's cancer patients. We had a 40th anniversary ceremony to open this year's fair with special guest Gary Watson, and Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus (Bill Wyatt and Karen Fogg). We would also like to extend a special thanks to the following people who helped with the fair: Don Snell, Steve Davis, Leonard Logan, Dave Valentine, Brett Campa, Chloe Elliott, Kiersten Edwards, Dallas Edwards, Maryssa Edwards, DeWayne and Annie Valentine and Signs of Chaos.
KRMC sponsored our fair again this year and the unit appreciates their support and help.
Keith and Marti Adams handled the publicity and did a beautiful job getting the word out. Janet Watson handled the ticket sales and our members did a great job selling the tickets. Lots of contest prizes were awarded and we thank the businesses that contributed to this event.
Penny White was in charge of the setting up of the booths and the vendors. As usual, she did a fantastic job. She has dedicated eight years to the job of running the fair and has decided to pursue other interests at this time. KCCU wants to thank her for all of her hard work and continued dedication to this event. Once again, KCCU would like to thank each and every one who supports us in our goal of helping cancer patients with their needs as they fight this disease.
