'Run for the Wall' report due today
KPD will brief City Council, audience on controversy at meeting

Hundreds of motorcyclists stopped in Kingman on their way from California to Washington, D.C., in this file photo. The riders take part in the annual Run for the Wall event, which is designed to support veterans. The city and its police department have been under public attack for the past few weeks over the way the 2016 event was handled. Mayor Richard Anderson and Vice Mayor Carole Young have asked the KPD for an explanation, which will be provided at tonight’s City Council meeting. (MINER/file)
