Kingman man arrested for sexual exploitation of a minor
KINGMAN – Kingman Police arrested Devin Joseph Ohlinger, 18, of Kingman Thursday on 10 felony counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
According to Deputy Chief Rusty Cooper, the arrest is the result of an investigation that began in February when images of suspected child pornography were found on a cell phone found in the parking lot of a business in the 3300 block of Stockton Hill Road. A subsequent investigation and search of the phone found numerous images of child pornography.
Detectives determined Ohlinger was the phone’s owner. KPD investigators served a search warrant at a home in the 3100 block of Snavely Avenue where Ohlinger was taken into custody. He reportedly admitted involvement in the offenses and was booked into the Mohave County jail.
Investigators believe Ohlinger downloaded the images from assorted illicit pornography web sites. They don’t believe the images have a local connection.
