Kingman Photos: Saluting David Bone
The Patriot Guard Riders led an escort and flag line in honor of David Bone, right, on Monday afternoon.
David Bone served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War in the 5th Mechanized Infantry Division. He was nicknamed “Red Diamond.”
At peak strength, the 1st brigade of the 5th Mechanized Infantry Division had over 6,000 personnel assigned and was one of the most potent fighting forces in the Republic of Vietnam.
In later years, Bone was an active member of the PGR in Kingman and served as Ride Captain.
He passed away April 23.
He spent many years diligently honoring those who served, and on Monday people gathered to honor him at the Church of the Nazarene. There was a service as well as a PGR circle ceremony.
