TPT initiative fails county verification, will not be on November’s ballot

Organizers of the Kingman Citizens for Responsible Taxation’s Responsible Sales and Use Tax Act were notified by City Clerk Sidney Muhle Aug. 7 by letter that the initiative to reduce the sales tax from 3.5 percent  to 2.5 percent will not be on November’s general election ballot due to lack of valid signatures.
