KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests for the week ending Feb. 2:
Anthony David Bartolini, 48, of Fort Mohave, was arrested Jan. 26 for an outstanding felony warrant for failure to appear, issued out of Mohave County Superior Court. The original charge was theft of a credit card and fraudulent use of a credit card. Bartolini was found at a residence in the 1500 block of Valencia in Fort Mohave, and booked into Mohave County Jail.
Theft and trafficking
Breonna Glenn Bloomberg, 28, and Joseph Michael Webster, 31, were arrested Jan. 28 for theft and traffic in stolen property. Sheriff’s deputies responded to an area of Stockton Hill Road on a report of Bloomberg and Webster attempting to sell a toy hauler RV. The RV had been stolen from a storage yard in 9300 block of Blake Ranch Road. A 4x4 Razor was inside the RV. Both the RV and the Razor were recovered. Bloomberg and Webster were both booked into the Mohave County Jail.
William Roy Quinn, 34, of Fort Mohave, was arrested Jan. 31 for an outstanding felony warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court for failure to appear. He was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Kelsey Michelle Short, 27, of Kingman, was arrested Jan. 31 for burglary, resisting arrest and possession of marijuana, all felonies. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home in the 4700 block of Van Nuys on a burglary call. A neighbor in the area led deputies to a suspect. After reportedly packing up some of the victim’s property, Short knocked on a neighbor’s door with a story about her and her boyfriend splitting up. She asked for a ride. The neighbor, not knowing Short was in possession of stolen property, gave her a ride. The victims in this case did not know Short. Deputies found her in the 2300 block of Thompson Avenue. She resisted arrest and tried to flee from the arresting deputy. Short was found to be in possession of marijuana as well. Much of the stolen property was found in her possession. She was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Alana Marie Avelar, 42, of Kingman, was arrested Jan. 31 for possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, both felonies. Deputies responded to the 3100 block of Packard Avenue on a report of a suspicious vehicle at a vacant residence. They made contact with Avelar and a male subject. Avelar was found to be in possession of a white crystallized substance that field-tested positive for amphetamines. She was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Rickey Stephens, 57, of Kingman, was arrested Jan. 31 for domestic violence and aggravated assault. Deputies went to Kingman Regional Medical Center in response to a woman who had been physically assaulted in the 7100 block of Hawaii Drive. The victim reported her boyfriend was angry over an issue with their dogs. Stephens reportedly physically assaulted his girlfriend, which resulted in a broken rib and a significant amount of swelling on her ear. He was found at the residence on Hawaii and was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Shellie Ann Demarco, 56, of Kingman, was arrested Feb. 1 for trafficking stolen property, a felony, and theft, a misdemeanor. Deputies responded to the 3700 block of Hearne Avenue on a call that two generators were stolen from someone’s property. The victim described the generators, and contacted deputies to report that Demarco had posted the generators for sale online. Deputies contacted Demarco at a home in the 2100 block of Lass Avenue. They saw one of the generators at the residence matching the description from the victim. Demarco was taken into custody and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
