Desert Archers holding 3D shoot this weekend

The Desert Archers, a local archery club, is hosting a two-day shoot at the Mohave Sportsman Club archery range Saturday and Sunday. Shooting times for Saturday are 8 a.m. till 2 p.m. On Sunday, the event will start at 8 a.m. with shooting ending at 1 p.m.

According to Taco Esquibel, the shoot will feature two 15-target 3D courses. In addition to the 3D targets there will also be a long-shot competition.

The cost to participate in this event is $16 per day for adults, while youth shooters pay $7 per day or $12 for both days.

Those archers who are members of the MSC the cost is reduced to $8 a day or $12 for both days.

To encourage family participation in this shoot, a special family rate is also available. The cost for two adults and three children is $32 daily or $60 for both days.

Snacks and soft drinks or water will be available during the event.
