KINGMAN – Desert Church of Christ will celebrate its 10th annual Community Feast with a free Thanksgiving dinner at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the church, 2345 Gordon Drive.

Leo Woodman, minister at Desert Church of Christ, said more than 200 people showed up for the feast last year.

“It’s for the community,” the minister said. “We feed everybody, just to give back to the community and give people some place to go around the holidays.”

The turkey dinner comes with mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, vegetables, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie for desert.

It’s organized by Diana Kinney and prepared and served by volunteers from the church. Church members eat after everyone else is fed, Woodman added.
