End of the year book sale starts Friday

KINGMAN – Friends of the Library is having its end of the year book sale.

The book sale will have a variety of hardbacks, paperbacks, fiction, non-fiction, magazines, children’s books, young adult, videos and more at low prices. Books will vary in price but usually the highest priced book is $2.

The sale is from 9 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. Friday through Saturday at the Mohave County Library-Kingman, 3269 Burbank St. in the library program room.

Members will have the opportunity to take a sneak peek of the sale from 6 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. Thursday. People who aren’t members can attend the members only sale by becoming a member on entry.

To become a member, it’s $10 for those under 55 years old, $5 for 55 and older, and for families it’s $10. The membership is valid all year.

“Our goal is to put out many books and get many people reading,” said Margaret Daw, vice president of membership for the Friends of the Library.

All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Kingman library.
