Kingman Chophouse donates nearly $7,000 to search and rescue

KINGMAN –Jesse and Dondi Godinez, owners of the Kingman Chophouse, presented Mohave County Sheriff Doug Schuster and members of the Search and Rescue- Kingman Unit with a check for $6,900 on Thursday, Aug. 8.

The money donated was raised during the unit’s annual Taco Dinner fundraiser July 8. Schuster then presented the Godinezes and staff with a placard of appreciation for their continued support and sponsorship of the Taco Dinner fundraiser.

The donated funds will assist in purchasing new equipment and providing necessary training for the Kingman Unit. Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue is an all-volunteer organization with more than 100 members covering Mohave County.
