Rants and Raves | February 12, 2019
Got something on your mind? Tell us about it in 40 words or less. If your rant or rave is about a specific story, please mention the headline.
History of Palo Christi: Great story/memories. Many of us learned to play instruments in that auditorium – at the east end in the late ‘40s, early 50s. Mrs. Margaret Morgan taught us piano and all the words to “O Holy Night” for our Christmas program.
Comedy of errors, lawsuits: Interesting that the article did not mention City’s lawsuit expenditures regarding the take-back of the airport property from the KAA. How many thousands of dollars did Kingman residents have to pay to bring the airport property back under City control?
KMS “F” grade: Doesn’t get done with teaching alone. Parents need to be involved. Two showed up. Says volumes about the grade.
A brief history of Palo Christi Elementary: Happy birthday Palo Christi! You served our education family faithfully for generations. We look forward to a restoration of you to make you a grand matriarch in our City’s history and education of our children.
Republicans must stand up to Trump on immigration: Portraying Trump as “divisive anti-immigrant?” Just nuts. How about protecting our citizenry and obeying our laws; something every POTUS must do. Should admit “defeat on border wall?” You mean, like 64 other countries successfully have? We will have the wall.
A comedy of errors and lawsuits: Thank you Kingman Daily Miner for putting facts in perspective.
KMS taking steps beyond its ‘F’ grade: The ADE is so enthralled with their private schools, they really don’t care what happens to public education. The ADE deserves an ‘F’ and a lot of KMS parents deserve the same.
